Author of the famous Herbie Clip and Ezclik plastic hose clamps, the HCL Fasteners Company thought it's time for a image boost.
Thus, during several months they worked hard to develop their new corporate identity through a website and logotype.
This branding exercise was also made in order to get "... away from any connotations involving nuts, bolts and screws, as we've never been a wholesale supplier of those", says Peter Coles, sales director at HCL... We therefore felt the need to change our company logo to reflect this. With this in mind, the new strap line beneath our logo is now 'plastic clamping solutions', which we believe, conveys the key skills and core activities of HCL."
The company's website reflects through it's geometrical design the evolving needs of the consumer as the evolving nature of the products the company makes. Product specifications are available for download in a user friendly PDF library, as a result of the increasing demands on all company products.
Peter Coles says the company doesn't stand anymore on the glory of its historical products (Herbie Clip Hose Clamps) but it relies on the success of its product diversification.
According to Coles, the new corporate identity is the accurate expression for the growth period of a dynamic company.
